Whether you are a beginner or an expert, we offer courses adapted to your level. Provided by IKO qualified instructors so you learn kitesurfing safely..

Beginner ?

1st CLASS – on the beach (2 hours):

This first class includes a theoretical part about the gear, spot, wind, weather, etc., followed by a practical part where you learn to fly a trainer kite (1.5m2) or a 3m2 kite in order to familiarize yourself with the handling of a traction kite. You will then learn to set up and control a real kite (inflatable kite), and understand how to use a harness, safety systems, depower system, etc. At the end of this first lesson, you will be able to control a kite on land and know the kite flying theory.

2nd AND 3rd CLASSES – Bodydragging in the water (4h):

These courses are dedicated to the practice of your bodydragging techniques.
This technique consists of moving in the water, without a board, pulled by the kite…

4th CLASS – Waterstart (2h):

During this lesson, you’ll learn how to put your board on your feet while controlling the kite and how to stand up and ride your first meters. Let’s go !

5th AND 6th CLASSES: first tacks, riding safely, going upwind

You learn to be more confident with your first tacks. You get up at each waterstart, you improve your kite sailing technique, you go on both sides without falling down. You learn to manage your speed and stop properly. You learn the rules of priority in navigation and to ride in the middle of other kitesurfers. You learn how to self-rescue, how to get out of difficult situations (breaking some gear, the wind drops). You learn to create and steer your body in order to go upwind, this will then allow you to sail in all directions (downwind, sidewind, upwind).

Intermediate Classes

The classes take place with an instructor and one kite per pupil, in private lessons or in groups of 2-3 people maximum. Several points are covered: riding safely, going upwind, transitions, tacking, first jump, etc. To progress, what is needed above all, is to practice as much as possible. That’s why we also offer supervised navigation. You are not in class but you will be supervised by a teaching assistant to help you in case of problems. You should be able to go back and forth in both directions and be familiar with safety techniques to be supervised.
